Life Groups

Many parishioners are quite active in our parish and we have many activities which promote kindness, friendship and fellowship.

          Our parishioners go all out for the yearly Catholic Charities Appeal. In many of the activities the men and women both are involved. Some of the events which we participate in as a group are the "Altar Rosary Society" which do all things connected with the church like changing the altar and decorations to the liturgical season, the Christmas and Easter decorating is done by anyone who volunteers their help including the young adults. The pastor and some of the young adults went to Madrid, Spain to participate in World Youth Day.

We recently began a Book Club and we also have had a Bible Study Group.

We have some great fund-raisers  which require a great deal of work such as the Basket Raffle. The basket makers" make over 250 baskets for  a fund-raiser, a gigantic flea market which is very successful, a Wine Tasting Party, a Carnival when school class for the summer, a Fish Fry, Shrimp and Beef on Weck once a month and every Friday in Lent. Many Sundays we have a "coffee hour" just to visit with friends. We are blest to have a beautiful social center, St. Charles Borromeo Center, which is used almost daily for all kinds of activities in the parish as well as activities requested by community groups.

We have BINGO every Tuesday night. For several years we have had a "Travel Club". They plan many far and near places to visit, like musical performances, shrines, shopping malls, great restaurants and even places in Europe. Last year they went to Rome Italy.
